According to section 17 of the Act, if the owner applies to the department to convert, fragment or consolidate the bonds of his predecessor, the department will charge a fee of two hundred rupees per certificate and the gross certificate related to such bond. And if it is deemed appropriate after taking the documents, such bonds may be converted, fragmented or consolidated.
